After an extended stay in the United States, Émilie returns to Québec with a new album: Émilie Clepper et La Grande Migration, with songs in French that fit her like a glove, heart and soul. Emilie Clepper interprets author Sara Garneau's lyrics with power and delicacy, inspired as much by Piaf as Cat Power, Beth Gibbons (Portishead) and Lhasa, by French song and by some triphop sound textures. She is accompanied by a trio featuring a piano, bass and drums.
A work of love, the album is produced by Benoit Pinette, aka Tire le coyote.
