In the 1980s, Lee Aaron became the "Metal Queen" of melodic hard rock both on the Canadian scene and internationally. In 1989, her Body Rock album sold over 200,000 copies in Canada. She turned to blues and jazz in the early 2000s, brilliantly reworking her repertoire. A few years later she revisited a much more rock sound, making a strong comeback in the niche where she had first made her mark.
