Auteur-compositeur-interprète, guitariste, comédien, animateur de télé et même humoriste à ses heures, Michel Rivard s'est imposé, au cours des 35 dernières années, comme l'un des créateurs les plus fascinants de la scène culturelle montréalaise. Dans la foulée des Leclerc, Vigneault et Ferland, cet artiste entier a contribué à faire avancer la chanson québécoise vers de nouvelles formes et de nouveaux horizons, le «folk-urbain-contemporain».
