Hailing Austin,Texas, The Bright Light Social Hour revives classic 70s-style psychedelic rock with a touch of their own blues, southern rock and soul. Sometimes they even tip their hats to the post-rock played by Explosions in the Sky, proof that The Bright Light Social Hour is open to anything that stimulates their creativity.

Having built an enviable reputation on the local Austin scene with their intense performances, the quartet won a record six Austin Music Awards at the 2011 South by Southwest Festival.
