After earning her stripes as bass player for Mara Tremblay, Michel Faubert, Stefie Shock and Ariane Moffatt, Marie-Pierre Arthur made a remarkable solo debut on the Québec pop scene in 2009 with her self-titled album. Her allegiance to folk, pop and rock was confirmed three years later with the release of Aux alentours last February.
