Koriass started out in “rap battles” on the Internet before using it as a distribution platform for his creations. He brought out his first maxi, Mort de rire, in 2006, followed two years later by his first official album, Les racines dans le béton, a real eye-opener.
Today, Koriass brings a powerhouse show to the Festival, backed by an excellent second album (Petites victoires)and public and critical acclaim. Having personified for years Québec's next generation of francophone rappers, he is now one of its leaders.
