Avec pas d’casques is still flying below the radar even though they continue to make albums as accomplished as Astronomie (released last March), that followed up on the excellent Dans la nature jusqu’au cou (2008). Popular success is just a question of time.

The band found its niche in country-folk music to which they add their abstract poetry. With song titles like “La journée qui s’en vient est flambant neuve” or “Les oiseaux faussent aussi” we picked up on that...

Singer Stéphane Lafleur is also a filmmaker. His films, Continental, un film sans fusil and En terrains connus, were acclaimed by critics worldwide.
