Of Irish extraction, Shane Murphy is a 15-year veteran of the Montreal blues scene who also plays in festivals across North America.

Shane Murphy released his first album, Street Money Miracle, in 2009. Blues with overtones of soul and funk, it stands out for its fresh sound and its authenticity. If you ask him to describe his music, Shane Murphy says he sounds like “Sly and the Family Rolling Stones” or “Bob Marley singing for Funkadelic”. You couldn't ask for better references!
