Mike Mattison and Paul Olsen met in Minnesota back in the 90s. Their shared love of black American music is behind Scrapomatic's sound, a blend of contemporary blues, soul, rhythm ‘n’ blues and jazz. Mattison, Olsen and their guest musicians are known to their fans as “The Great American Blues Machine”. Try to top that!
Mike Mattison has also been singing with Derek Trucks Band since 2003 and is a member of Tedeschi Trucks Band, also on this year's program.
