Laurence Hélie has channelled influences from the likes of Neil Young, Alison Krauss and Ryan Adams into her very own style of country/folk/bluegrass.

Her self-titled album released in 2010 revealed a soft voice, made to measure for the tender ballads that captivated the public and critics alike. This album made Le Devoir newspaper's top 10 of the year and won a Félix for best country album in 2011.
