They opened for Bootsy Collins, Green Day and Counting Crows. They were onstage with Metallica in San Francisco last December, and they interpreted Eurythmics' “Sweet Dreams” on their latest album... One thing for sure, the eight members of Soul Rebels aren't playing just for a New Orleans-style jazz-funk audience. And this could be why they don't hesitate to include elements of rap, pop and reggae in their music.
