Since her appearance before a audience 100,000 strong on the Plains of Abraham when she opened for Paul McCartney's historic July 2008 concert, Pascale Picard must have realized just how much her life has changed in a mere 16 months.
When the Quebec City artist brought out her debut album (Me, Myself & Us) in April 2007, she was relatively unknown. But her irresistible pop with its folk accents and sound reminiscent of Alanis Morissette soon grabbed attention in Québec, Canada and Europe. Two Félix awards, a Juno nomination and 300,000 sales of Me, Myself & Us later, the Pascale Picard Band is back in her hometown to sing songs from her second album, A Letter to No One, released last year.
