Yuksek, a.k.a. Pierre-Alexandre Busson, earned an enviable reputation on the French club circuit with his electrifying live performances and remixes of songs by Gorillaz, Lady Gaga, Moby and Wu Tang Clan.
After a debut album (Away from the Sea) mainly inspired by the electro sound of his compatriots Daft Punk and Justice, Yuksek opted for synthpop and a more individual singing style in Living on the Edge of Time, released here early this year. In any event, the dance floor is still the real deal for Yuksek and that's what he intends to show us as he plays to a Québec audience for the first time.
