Claire Boucher, originally from Vancouver and now living in Montreal, is the name behind Grimes, the project that has generated so much buzz. 2D art, performance, dance, audio, video… the unique world of Grimes puts you in mind of Kate Bush, Bjork or Likke Li, and is as much musical as it is visual. Visions, released last February, is her third album since 2010. Back from the prestigious South by Southwest Festival, she put her own stamp on this quality production, with its electro-pop sound and airy vocals. At just 24 years of age, she seems to have an innate sense of composition and production and is definitely a young talent to watch for.
