The musical ensemble Alouette de Québec was founded in 2008 in the tradition of the Clique Alouette de Québec, a popular band in the 60s and 70s. Today it has 55 members, including 30 horns. Its musicians come from the greater Quebec City area, and most are former Patro members, including members from Patro Laval. With arrangements by the well-known band leader Léon Bernier, their repertory includes Québec favourites and semi-classical works.
