Galaxie is a ‘Made in Montreal’ rock band led by guitarist Olivier Langevin. This young artist has played with Mara Tremblay, Mononc' Serge, WD-40 and others, including Fred Fortin. In 2000, he founded Galaxie 500 with friends who also come from Lac-St-Jean. After playing at several different festivals, the band released their debut album entitled Le temps au point mort in 2006 and have kept on playing their garage rock across Québec. Now called Galaxie, the band released Tigre et Diesel in February 2011. (source: voir.ca)
