Guitarist Pierre Bensusan belongs to a select club of contemporary French musicians enjoying global renown. With each successive album, his musical universe has expanded in scope, drawing inspiration from a number of cultures. This six-string sage, unquestionably one of the most eloquent world, jazz and folk musicians of our time, fuses sounds covering a vast geographical and temporal range into an immediately identifiable whole we simply call the "Bensusan sound." His first visit since 2008 is nothing short of a musical event.
