Hit the lights and train them on earthy MC and mixtape master Danny Brown, with his asymmetrical hipster haircut, incendiary ‘hood verve and maximum Detroit attitude-this dude's prose sometimes makes elder rappers like Snoop Dogg seem like common Boy Scouts. Released in time for his 30th birthday, the explosive opus XXX (a reference to his age...) sees the rapper approaching sex and drugs straight on (and with much hilarity). Abrasive, yet jubilant.
