Considered one of the inventors of jazz-rock fusion, a style he's worked in since 1966 as a founder of The Free Spirits, brilliant Texas guitarist Larry Coryell is a musician with no time for boundaries. Versatile and curious, he's worked with the likes of Gary Burton, Paco de Lucía and John McLaughlin, and taken on works by composers Stravinsky and Ravel. After his 2010 Jazz All-Year Round concert, he returns to perform as part of the Guitarissimo series.
