Playful music for brass and other metals. Original compositions with colourful, imaginative arrangements. Energetic and bracing performances. That's L'Orkestre des pas perdus, skillfully captained since 1993 by trombonist, composer and arranger Claude St-Jean. The O.P.P. whips up a combo of jazz, funk, swing, surrealist cabaret, cinematic ambience and a wild brass section. Returning to the Festival after a 3-year absence, the Ork presents pieces from the 2011 album
L'âge du cuivre.
