This poly-saxophonist (a master of alto, soprano, tenor and baritone!) amazes with his ability to make any genre his own, from gypsy jazz to rock and even classical music. After performing at the Festival four years ago in a quintet, he lands with his redoubtable trio, filled out by Hammond B3 ace Gerard Gibbs and drum master Leonard King, Jr., calling us to meet them At the Crossroads, their excellent 2011 album. Singer Miche Braden (star of The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith) and ultra cool guitarist Rodney Jones join the fun.
