Rising young American trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire is considered by many to be the descendant of an illustrious lineage headed by Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Wynton Marsalis. His CV is already remarkable for a musician who hasn't turned 30: graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, winner of prestigious jazz competitions, young buck in the legendary Blue Note stable, where recorded When the Heart Emerges Glistening in 2011...
