A major figure in British folk in the 1960s and 1970s, Al Stewart conquered the charts thanks to memorable 1976 soft-rock album
The Year of the Cat. Next came
Time Passages and its magical melodies, cementing his international reputation. Since the 1980s, the Scot with the instantly recognizable voice has devoted himself to his passion for wine, all the while recording and touring to the delight of a cult of fervent admirers. In his first visit to the Festival, Stewart and his trio revisit the gems of a career stretching back over 40 years.
