Nightbox started out in Ireland and was beginning to make a name for itself when its members decided to finish university abroad. The band ended up in Toronto in 2010.
The fresh sound of quintet's dance rock comes through even though the 80s synthpop influences are hard to miss. Here's a cocktail that festivalgoers are sure to go for, if the reaction to Australia's Cut Copy last year is anything to go by.
