Marilou grew up in the spotlight. At the tender age of 11 she was singing on the TV program La Fureur and had recorded a duo with baritone Gino Quilico. Three years later, she opened for Garou in Europe. By the age of 15, sales for her first album reached 50,000, and she was playing in the musical comedy Notre-Dame-de-Paris.
Today, at the venerable (!) age of 21, Marilou has released her first album in English. Inspired by two musicians that she has always admired, John Mayer and Alanis Morissette, this album more closely reflects who she is. This album marks a definite evolution in Marylou's sound. If the past 10 years have shown us an artist with huge potential, the next 10 should confirm her talent.
