HBE is formed of eight brothers from the south side of Chicago. They come from an extraordinary musical family. They all play brass under the direction of their father Philip Cohran, who has roots running back to Mississippi and who played the trumpet with Sun Ra in Chicago in the 1950s before being involved with The Pharoahs (now Earth, Wind and Fire). Their last album, Heritage, is a 2010 house production. (free translation of the group Facebook page)
