The Besnard Lakes est un groupe important de la scène indie-rock canadienne dirigé par Jace Lasek (producteur/ingénieur au Breakglass studio pour Sunset Rubdown, Wolf Parade, Patrick Watson…) et Olga Goreas. Entre l'indie et la pop ensoleillé de Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Besnard Lakes ont été nominé en 2007 pour un prix POLARIS avec leur excellent album "…Are The Dark Horse", enregistré en collaboration avec les membres de Stars, The Dears, et de Silver Mt Zion. The Besnard Lakes déchire la nuit avec leur 3e album "…Are The Roaring Night", 8 pièces qui s'entrecoupent pour nous faire vivre une expérience auditive hors du commun.
