"Sans avoir fait un seul concert, il quitte le Québec pour un voyage dans le monde entier qui dure finalement cinq ans. De passage en Chine, il rencontre Nick Laflamme (MRC domaine du Roi) ainsi que Charles Hudon et Cédrick Dessureault (Le grand Alma Beach). Ensemble, ils laissent libre court à leur passion bluegrass et forme une société secrète dont nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas vous parler. Après le Bien-être tour 2008 (Chine-Laos-Thaïlande-Inde) Cédrick quitte la Chine. Le groupe recrute Mark O'Chorraì, un Irlandais également installé en Chine. En 2010, le Québec Redneck enregistre son premier album, Sweat mama yeah!, chaudement accueilli par tous les cowboys chinois." - Bande A Part
