Thirty years after the death of the American pianist whose collaboration with Miles Davis (Kind of Blue) and signature trio and jazz piano style helped make him famous, the music of Bill Evans is reinterpreted here by Michel Donato (contrabass), François Bourassa (piano), Frank Lozano (saxophone) and Pierre Tanguay (drums). The four talented Montreal musicians bring their combined experience and their love of Bill Evans’ music to each of these timeless compositions that continue to inspire new generations of musicians. A rendezvous with swing, ballads, bop and cool jazz.
