François Bourassa is one of the leading lights of Canadian jazz. Winner of the Oscar Peterson Award at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal (2007), he is acclaimed by the public everywhere he plays for his creative, inspired and sensitive compositions. Funky or introspective, François Bourassa composes his jazz for his excellent musicians and long-time friends, and this comes through when they play together in concert.
